It is our desire at Feed the Kingdom to assist in holistic community development and clean water is only the beginning. We assess communities and implement strategies to impact these 4 main areas for HOPE:
H – health
O – orphans
P – poverty
E – education/ evangelism
Health
We will train community health workers and help connect them with nurses and physicians in their area in order to provide better access to basic healthcare and preventative services
Poverty
We will assess for opportunities for microenterprise as well as other business strategies in order to help people find ways to generate income and break the cycle of poverty.
Orphans
As families’ basic needs are met, we will work to strengthen these families who then can open their homes to provide for orphans in their community. Keeping at risk children in a family setting, in their community is our goal, rather than institutionalized care.
Education/Evangelism
Education needs will be addressed according to the makeup of each community.
Finally, every relationship that is formed during this process is also about showing the love of God, so people will be drawn to Him. We will also encourage and help disciple believers in these communities through long-term relationships that are established. No physical change to a community can be meaningful without life-change also taking place.
